Ever-evolving toughness: metal-clad shock-resistant structure
A stainless steel bezel with an inner case made of exceptional strength and damage- and distortion-resistant glass protects the fiber-reinforced resin module. Small protrusions on the inner case reduce surface contact with the bezel to protect the module from shock. Cutting-edge technology is applied to the original G-SHOCK concept of hollow construction to deliver a shock-resistant structure with a metal exterior.
Minimalist Beauty of the Form: Wafer-Thin Design
We achieved shock resistance with minimal case thickness by adopting a metal-clad shock-resistant structure. The optimized, high-density mounting of the circuit board structure made it possible to make the module even thinner. The result is an exceptionally slim design for an analog-digital combination model with a metal case and a comfortable fit on the wrist.
Casual Flair: Textured Band
The urethane band of the watch utilizes a finely detailed square point texture. Sophisticated molding techniques were used to achieve an intricacy of texture with incremental variations in dot size. A slide lever makes it easy to attach and remove the band.
Meticulous Detail: Dial with Metallic Vapor Deposition
Mirror and hairline finishes are applied to the surface of the dial to achieve a texture fitting for a metal model dedicated to meticulous attention to detail.
